The Geraldine Police Department currently has five full-time police officers.  Geraldine Police Department officers are highly skilled and very qualified.  Each officer receives diverse outside training and continuing education annually.  The police department provides coverage twenty-four hours a day / 365 days a year.  This coverage has proven to reduce the crime and traffic accident rate considerably over the last several years.  One officer is also a member of the DeKalb County SRT (Special Response Team).
